We are pleased to announce that our lawyers: prof. Adam Brzozowski and attorney Michał Stryjewski led to a judgment amending the contract and awarding additional remuneration to our client – one of the leading road works contractors on the Polish market – due to an extraordinary change in relations (article 3571 § 1 of the Polish Civil Code – rebus sic stantibus). In this complex and complicated trial concerning the performance of road construction works on one of the expressways, arguments were raised related to the extraordinary increase in fuel and bitumen prices in 2011-2012.
